Trebbiano Gravel 2023, april 30 at Castel Ritaldi

April 30th will be the date for Trebbiano Gravel 2023: the non-competitive bicycle touring event that starts and finishes in Castel Ritaldi, in the province of Perugia, promoting tourism in the Spoleto Valley area with its amazing scenery, culture and food and wine. Let’s have a look at how to participate.

Trebbiano Gravel: Hours and Routes

Trebbiano Gravel 2023 will start off at 9:00pm on 30 April 2023 from Piazza Santa Marina in Castel Ritaldi. The starting line will be the same for all routes (long, medium, short). The finish line will also be in Castel Ritaldi and there is a maximum amount of time to finish the routes, which is 6:30pm of the same day.

These are the possible routes:

• 95 km with 1,750 m climb over the long route
• 75 km with 1,400 m climb over the medium route
• 55 km with 900 m climb over the short route

All of the routes mainly follow paths, gravel roads and secondary paved roads. There may be short stretches along roads with car traffic. Along the entire route one must take great care and observe the Traffic Code even on the gravel roads. The routes are all circular (they start and finish in Castel Ritaldi) and their features are provided on the event’s website.

Registration for 2023

Registration is done directly online on the Winning Time portal. The basic registration fee is 35 € and includes:

• Official participation in the Event
• The race pack includes a badge to apply to your bike, a bracelet to access services, gadgets and free gifts from sponsors
• Maps of the routes in .gpx and roadbooks with the maps of the routes, check points, main turns and sights (restaurants, water fountains, tourist attractions) which will be sent in an email
• To refreshments along the routes and at the finish line (until 6:30pm)

The first 200 registered participants for Trebbiano Gravel 2023 will also get a technical t-shirt for the event.

Race pack pick-up place and time

Pick-up for race packs with gadgets, free gifts and useful devices will be on the following days and times:

• Saturday 29 April 2023, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in Piazza Santa Marina in Castel Ritaldi
• Sunday 30 April 2023, from 7:00am to 9:00am also in Piazza Santa Marina in Castel Ritaldi

The last page of the official rules has a form to delegate another person to pick up your pack, if you as a participant cannot make these pick-up times.
