The ‘Ring Race’ Corsa dell’Anello in Narni 2025: Narni re-enactment of medieval culture

From 24 April to 11 May 2025 Narni turns back in time to medieval tradition and culture with the Corsa all’Anello, the ‘Ring Race’: a re-enactment dedicated to the patron saint Giovenale, the first bishop of the city, which is held over the two weeks leading up to the second Sunday of May.

From 24 April to 11 May 2025: Narni has a great programme of events 

Two weeks of events in which the actual competition itself is the occasion for shows by artistic, cultural and musical groups, from exhibitions to the medieval market and the reconstruction of ancient places and trades and along streets and squares: like an open air exhibition where Narni goes back to the ancient traditions of the era of the ‘Ring Race’.

The ‘Ring Race’ Corsa dell’Anello: the must-see traditional events

Of the most highly appreciated events of the programme of the Corsa all’Anello the organisation reminds us not to miss:

• the town crier’s rounds
• the Historical race in Piazza dei Priori
• Medieval Days of the three ‘Districts’ Terzieri
• the re-enactment of medieval places
• the evocative ‘Offering of the Candles’ Offerta dei Ceri, in the Cathedral 
• the three Blessings of the Knights from 7 to 10 May 
• the Great Historical parade with the participation of 800 people dressed in costume, starting from Piazza dei Priori and passing through the streets if the historical centre from 9:30pm Saturday 10 May 
• the ‘Ring Race’, Corsa dell’Anello in the Campo de li Giochi, held on the last day, 11 May

To watch the Corsa dell’Anello, on 11 May 2025 at 4:00pm at the Campo de li Giochi you need to buy tickets from vivaticket.com or directly at the Corsa all’Anello Narni ticket office.
